We are enjoying the privledge of sharing our home with a 16 year old from Japan.
If you have never hosted a foreign exchange student look into it today! It will be a wonderful adventure!
Many of you are wondering where we are at?
We are still in Kentucky, praying and living out the same things as when we first moved here…..
and loving HIM more everyday!
2 Corinthians 5:9
Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him.
This has been rolling around in my head for the past 16 days. It just keeps coming back. I can’t shake it. to be well pleasing to Him.
in the greek philotimoumetha (that’s a mouthful) is to be well pleasing to the Lord.
To live for Him, die for Him, work for Him, love others for Him, be patient for Him, speak with kind words for Him, guard what my eyes see for Him, edit what my mind meditates on for Him, and that all my heart desires would be for Him.
Lord, help this to sink in our hands, heads, and hearts. That all we do, say and think would bring you pleasure. So that when we kneel before you in your kingdom you may say… “well done, good and faithful servant”
